HomePod HomePod Mini vs Beats Pill+

I’m looking for a nice small speakers for my Mac mini.
I’ve tried HomePod mini in the past and was a bit underwhelmed.

The next choice as the larger HomePod. But the recently re-launched Beats Pill+ is intriguing as it’s also a truly wireless speaker that I could take with me outdoors on the deck.

Anyone tried these and how they compare to the HomePod minis?

Just a suggestion: Get the Pill+ from amazon, keep the package and packing, try out the speaker ASAP. If you don’t like it you can return it.
