HomePod HomePod not playing updated Apple Music Playlists

every Friday the “new music mix playlist” updates in Apple Music with a custom mix recommended for you. The first week of using HomePod saying “hey Siri play my new music mix playlist” worked perfectly but the second week after it updated on Friday the HomePod still plays last weeks version while my iPhone and Mac show the new version. I could play the new version via Apple airplay but what’s up? It’s been like this for 5 days...

just as an update if anyone finds this post and has the same issue... i've now had my HomePods for 3 weeks. The first week they correctly had my "New Music Mix" playlist but the 2nd week they failed to update it as mentioned and for the entire week simply played the first weeks version. Now the 3rd week they suddenly correctly updated to the 3rd weeks version. Hopefully it was a Apple server side fluke that caused my problem, but it was temporary for just the week until a "new new" version came out. It should update every Friday for that particular playlist, we will see if it continues to do so. Thanks.
