Quick question. On occasion but fairly often Siri will say my name after a HomeKit action request. ie "Hey Siri turn on the living room lights" Siri responds "There you go...(my name)".

Thought that was weird because if its open for anyone why use my name if it could be someone else.

So I was at a friends house, prior to him getting home I asked his HP to turn a lights on (I kept saying on so it wasn't flashing the lights) probably 50 times and not once did it use his name or obviously mine. Maybe this was because his phone wasn't in range (a requirement for personal request) or maybe just a coincidence.

Has anyone else noticed this? More importantly has anyone else had Siri use your name with someone else?

I was eluding to getting multiple user support via the Home app sooner rather than later.

The amazon devices are capable of such, although not that great at it. And with Siri on iOS being relatively good as voice recognition plus being able to invite users who can then share info it seems like a reasonable possibility.

Maybe I’m just being hopeful however everything seems to be in place just needs the software support.
