Hi everybody!

Could someone explain me why all in a sudden every time I ask the HomePod to play some music it turns on the Apple TV too?

It drives me crazy.
The Apple TV is NOT setup to use the HomePod as a speaker.

Cheers!

Nope

you can airplay from the HomePod to the appletv

on your phone’s control center
Hit the airplay icon in the top right of the media tile in the top right of the screen

Scroll down to find the homepod
On the homepod tile. Hit the airplay button
It will show a list of targets
Make sure only the homepod is selected.

Yeah it was all good on those settings..

I couldn’t even restart the HomePod from the home app.

I had to remove it and add it again now it all works..

I’m shocked how they just keep adding bugs over bugs and can’t get their software department together...
