I have 2 HPs and when I ask it to play music, the volume is about half of what it used to be with iOS 11. If I stream songs through iTunes or from my iPhone, it's back to what it used to be.

I think this is a bug tied to Apple TV because for whatever reason, streaming via Apple TV always played half as loud, which made HP's less than ideal for home theater use. Anyone else having this issue?

Have you tried connecting your HomePods to the AppleTV and turning the volume all the way up to see if it affects the volume when playing music afterwards?

Interestingly, the volume when streaming from any device (iPhone, Mac, ATV) seems to be normal but if I ask HomePod to play a song directly, the volume is noticeably lower. Even after I set the volume to be the same. 40% played directly through HP sounds more like 20% when streaming the same song via iTunes.
