HomePods 2 with Mac mini 2?

Hello,

I have a Mac Mini 2 Pro on order and was thinking of buying 2x HomePods 2's as speakers.
Is there any lag issues when watching Videos and Music? or other problems?

Also I can use Bluetooth to connect to the speakers? or can I only connect via Airplay?
