After updating to 15.2 all of my HomePod Minis respond to inquiries about the weather with “weather for where?”

I’ve checked the settings app, and it shows location services turned on for the Home App. I’ve toggled them back off and on.

I’ve restarted all the minis and force quit the Home app multiple times. I’m stumped.

Anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions?

Yesterday, during a video call on my Mac, I said something in Italian similar to "Hey Siri" (like "...eh sì, sì...") and the HomePod started to shout something about the weather.

My reaction was: shut up, what the hell is going on! I activated the location services right after the 15.2 update.

I'll check today again. Not now, though: people are still sleeping around me...

Mine actually got fixed with 15.2. I haven't been able to ask any of my HomePods what's the weather for well over a year. I had to say what's the weather condition in my location- this exact otherwise it would tell me to continue on iPhone. Since the update I can now just ask what's the weather like and it answers. This update is strange.

Solved - I noticed my iPhone hadn’t updated yet. Forced it to update, then opened the home app. It prompted a new location services request, I clicked allow, and now all my HomePods know where we are again.

You solved mine as well. Thanks for updating your post.
