I have just had to reset #1 of my HomePods and being it is a stereo speaker with #2 HomePod I reset them both. After I reset and they were back as normal I went into the settings of one to see if they'd been re-configured as stereo, I noticed that the symbol that appears in the middle of their two icons (to change L and R) was not there but yet they still worked as stereo when I tried them. Has the symbol to change the HomePods to L and R been removed?

I am hoping the latest update fixes what I have been hammering them for ages — you can’t get stereo watching Netflix on your laptop (not as in iOs) because when you choose a speaker you get two instances of the pair and only one speaker plays at a time. Their supposed Midi settings workaround also failed. If there’s one instance for the pair that would be awesome.

If I change my Homepods to my Macbook Air all I get is individual Homebods, no checkboxes to have stereo
Then they haven’t fixed it. So angry. They’ve called several times and not left any news on VM. I don’t answer unknown numbers.

I know, when they've said they're going to call me it annoys me that you still have to wait to be routed back to them they don't speak direct
