I updated to the newest update yesterday and it is completely incompatible with my system( stuck at the apple logo) I disabled substrate to try and reinstall and I still get the same problem. This is all since this new update that just came out. Anybody else having this problem? this stinks because this app is far superior to Iconoclasm, much more user friendly in creating layouts.

what would be the best way to fix this? unistall substrate, then reinstall each tweak/app one by one?

Yep same thing happened to me updated 5 items that being one of them and boot loop. De-installed Home Screen Designer and no more boot loop. The latest must be conflicting with something...bummer.

Big bummer! As far as I know you can't create layouts on iconoclasm and it was so easy to do on HD! I can't find any layouts on iconoclasm that are even close to what I was using. Stinks! If it's a common problem among more users I'm not gonna purge everything just to find out it still won't work

edit- i purged everything and Put HD back on FIRST and it still is conflicting and not allowing the phone to boot up.

I have had epic issues with hd and safe mode. Every time I attempt to drag an icon from one screen to the next, it would immediately go into safe mode. I only have a few tweaks installed but I decided last night to ditch Barrel and so far I have had no issues with dragging icons, etc. I think we have to use just hd or everything else...lol I don't like iconoclasm or gridlock so I will leave it like it is now for a while and see how it goes. YMMV but this is my experience ;)

when I first updated HD yesterday that is what happened to me. I tried to drag a Icon and it would go to safe mode everytime( i dont have barrell installed). I uninstalled that first time and ever since I cant even get it to go past the apple logo now. Have you updated HD recently ?

Same thing here. Updated this morning and stuck in boot loop. Everything works fine with HD uninstalled. Tried to reinstall it and exact same thing. Glad to hear at least it's not just me

well Im using GRIDLOCK 2.0 until they do something about HomeScreenDesigner. Seems like it is the most reasonable alternate at the time.

Hold volume up as the device starts up

Worked for me. The second time took a little timing as even using the home/lock button it still automatically tried to start.

You will get it eventually and be able to access safe mode.

I uninstalled this one yesterday after reading this thread. I was fortunate enough to not be put in a boot loop, but it had put me in safe mode a few times and was much more difficult to move icons than you'd expect. I might come back to this one down the road, but it's still got a lot of bugs that need to be worked out. Gridlock will work just fine for what I need for now.

No this tweak has worked impeccably for about 3 or 4 weeks, until the update that came out 2 days ago. I am about to try the new update (1.09) and see how she Goes.... Gridlock or Iconoclasm just don't work for me , my icons are on top of my widget with no way to edit

Ok yes this is much better. As of version 1.09 I am running smooth as butter again. I just wonder how they could release and update that was fubar?

1.0.9 still has issues for me, although it is better than the previous version. Now, when I try to move icons around in "wiggle" mode the phone invariably reboots into safe mode. Reinstalled Iconoclasm and all is good.

New version is much more stable. Still some minor issues but no more crashes for me.

My 2nd SB page doesn't keep my layout after respring but it's fine after opening an app or lock/unlock.

Also when in the app and I load my layout it duplicates the apps so each spot has a second app on top of the first. Had that problem before and it's continued.

Finally, when you load a saved layout can you get the grid to load with it? My grid just shows default when I do.

Well 1.0.10 came out didnt get a chance at 1.0.9 and this latest seems to still conflict with my system. Every time i install it no longer boot loops but boots and then goes completely black...not sure if its off/dead or screen is not showing but had to remove 1.0.10 to get my phone working again.

Hmm might hold off on upgrading before I hear a few more opinions
