Homosexual Romeo and Juliet ideas

So im reinterpreting the balcony scene in Romeo and Juliet where juliet is Julian, a boy.

The Capulet and the Montagues are close friends because they go to the same church.
Neither of romeo and julian wants to change their name because their families are the most importqnt thing in their life. So they will love each other in secret. Little did they know, someone took a video of them while they were saying that they love each other.. He uploaded it to Facebook and romeo's and julian's parents saw it.

Then i dont know how the family should react. Please help me with your bright ideas!

Make the families Mormon. Mormons did (maybe still do) try aversion therapy to undo gay "choice" with their members. During the therapies, the two boys find each other and remain requited. However, Romeo, in order to get out fakes being straight and when Julian hears about it, he kills himself.
