My mom just bought a brand new CRV a few months ago. She loves it. I called her yesterday and she answered while driving, connected to bluetooth and running carplay in her new CRV. Her voice was very soft and she said my voice was soft on her end. When I spoke, my voice echoed very loudly on my end. I could barely form sentences, as my own voice from a second ago seemed to be interrupting me.
Apparently this is a known issue. I've read about it on a few forums, but I figure this forum is more likely to know a fix (or find a fix) than the other forums that just seemed to be people piling on with the same complaints.
It seems like it might be an issue with how the phone is handling the bluetooth connection. Something with it not properly giving the call completely to the bluetooth and still using it's own mic or something like that? Any ideas? I think it is also only an issue with outgoing calls from the CRV, not incoming (if that helps at all).
Thanks in advance for any thoughts.
