You are an iphone user though, I am talking about people who do not like using iphones

Ah two phones user?

I will let you know how buying the German version stacks up in the UK assuming your British?

It's £360 using Amazon currency and can get a uk quick charge plus for £14. Some users have said Amazon sometimes just ship the uk version

Good choice it was a toss up between blue and black for me but thought not many phones are blue. Clearly inspired by Honor's marketing here "for the brave".

Mine is coming Saturday / Sunday. How about you?

God that was a long time ago ... sadly my initial Honor 8 got lost in transit. Amazon in fairness did their best to track it however somewhere between Germany and Ireland it disappeared. Sadly I had to wait for them to investigate before they shipped a replacement (I suppose because of the value of the item) so anyway thankfully they shipped it to me yesterday so I'll finally have my Honor 8 on Tuesday.

As a courtesy for the disruption they gave me a token £10 credit on my Amazon account to spend next time I order. TBH, after paying €400 I just wanted my order.

I'll post pics and impressions finally on Tuesday :)

My Nexus 5X compares and costs less. Pure Android Marshmallow, gorgeous display, very nice build quality makes it a great sub $375 choice.

That said the Honor looks good and I say the more competition the better... :D

Finally arrived. It's very iPhone like OS wise. So far liking what i am seeing.

(Ordered black originally, my replacement they sent for the lost in transit one is however blue. At this stage i can not be bothered to argue with Amazon over this).

Awesome! Have they changed the EMUI skin? I know in the past you were not happy with it. What version are they on now? The Mate 8 and P9 I had was on EMUI 4 and it was a hard to navigate through.

Looking good! Give that dual camera a workout and let us know what you think! I saw this phone at Best Buy when I went to look at the iPhones. It's a beauty for the price.
 
The better smartphone to me personally is the Axon 7, I always check it out in BB and never look at the Honor 8 anymore.

But I did not pull the trigger on the Axon either.

Hope the Honor works out for you owners.

No I've only ever seen it from afar, this is the first time I've ever used EMUI personally. It's at 4.1 on this device anyway so I don't really know any changes.

It is very iOS like, but I actually like it's folders and such. They are very clean. I don't mind no app drawer either as it is how I am currently rocking my S7 too.

Oh and this phone is a hell of a finger print magnet ... I thought samsung's galaxy phones since the S6 were bad for fingerprints (it's why I really like the pearl white S7 as it hides them), but this is on a whole other level lol. I don't think there is any oleophobic coating on the screen, and I didn't get a pre-installed screen protector that reviews said came with it ???

I ordered Nillkin tempered glass protector now and it can't arrive soon enough.
