hooking macbook up to samsung lcd tv

hi...

i'm trying to figure out if it's worth hooking up my macbook to my samsung lcd tv. i've been reading previous posts, but i cant seem to understand the lingo. the resolution of the tv is 1366x768. it has a hdmi connection, but i've seen people say that a vga connection is better. what connection do i use from my macbook to lcd tv.

And a DVI to HDMI cable or a DVI to HDMI adapter and an HDMI cable.

You will love it.

DVI and HDMI are digital signals and with much better resolution than VGA.

Also you'll need an audio cable to connect your Mac's audio to your TV or Home Theater.
