Hooking up Itunes WITHOUT Itunes opening

is there a way to make Itunes not automatically launch when I hook my Iphone up?

yes theres an option which I think is on the device screen once you have connected the iphone to itunes, untick it.

Yep. Look at the iPhone screen in iTunes while it's plugged in. (The page that shows your phone number and space-used and all that.)

There's a check-box that says 'Open iTunes when this iPhone is connected.' Just un-check that.

You can set it from iTune preferences.

I'm not in front of iTunes right now, but there is a way - I think it's a checkbox option on the bottom middle of the summary tab screen when the iPhone is plugged in.
