AFAIK, steve@pixar.com was (and probably still is) the official Pixar e-mail address for him, and probably gets routed to an administrative assistant at Disney these days. But as long as it was never used as an Apple ID, anyone is free to use it.
 
I believe he is actually talking to Steve. Why not? Anything could happen these days, they did take gullible out of the dictionary after all.
 
I think there's more chance of you being Steve Jobs than the guy on the other end of your MSN chat...

By saying he's a long-time poster makes this even thread even dumber. It's like a family member using their key to get into the house, and then trashing the house. It just hurts a little bit more when you know it wasn't just a random person…

And as someone stated, anyone can use any user name so long as it isn't taken. Steve Jobs is not talking to you and I'd put money on the fact that he'd probably never talk to you.

Nor would Steve Jobs go through the effort to prove that he was Steve Jobs. Why would he need to prove it to you? You're not that important, and this gets him nowhere.
 
Sorry, but as that address came up on a few sites as being owned by Steve Jobs and I thought you needed conformation to set the address up with that account, that it was true.

Yeah, I'm blocking that guy!
