Hopefully that guy hit the 4x mulitplier for maximum points

Are you by any chance referring to Reckless Drivin'. There's a dump truck, crashes, and 4x multipliers...

This is so sad though. :(

Nope. I'm guessing it's near Toowoomba, right? :D

Sure, we have a few mountain ranges but next to most place, ours are pretty small and very rare (mountains per area).

Our biggest road problems stem from long straight highways and sleepy drivers.

My brother woke up after writing off his Commodore and a cow on one of Oz's long straight roads.

Thank you for the link, yes I looked at all 24 pictures. A scary scene from many angles. Interesting to see the "CSI" ones, one of my favorite shows. Just seeing the pictures makes it somewhat benign for the viewer. Can barley imagine the horror that occurred for those on the scene. That type of thing would definitely require grief counseling for the ER workers as well. :(

Wow... unreal pictures. Am holding my license in my hand today (the real plastic one arrived today!) and this is really, well... can't seem real.

I also know a person that was hit by a boat when they were in there car.

Its actually not as amazing as it sounds. The boat was on on a trailer and some drunk was driving the car and he made was in the wrong lane to turn, and he did so the trailer and boat ended up hitting their car.

Also a few monthes ago I witnessed a bass boat flying off a trailer and it hitting a Volvo which I think became totaled. The boat ended up in a field upside down. The Volvo tried to get out of the way by swerving into opposite direction lane and hit a fence. The Volvo still got hit by the boat and I almost got hit by it. I was litterally 2ft away from hitting the Volvo and in my attempt to avoid the car I almost hit the trailer that was carrying the boat.

Congradulations. Did have a car to drive?

Drive safely. Look out for out of control dump trucks.

I don't have a car that belongs to me but in return for errands I can drive my parent's cars.

wow, thats insane.... ive seen some bad wrecks in my day too, i do a LOT of driving in the Chicago area and i see at least an accident a day on average i would say.... but that one is particularly nasty, my thoughts go out to the people stuck in it all....

2 years ago, I was in Chicago for a car show (going again in 2 weeks for this years) and every time I was out of the hotel, or on route to some place, I had the misfortune of seeing a car accident happen.

#1 Honda Prelude racing a Civic in Chinatown, T-Boned a Corvette, (nobody was seriously injured)

#2 on the way home from Chinatown, Lexus GS-400 Ripping through traffic lost control and took out 3 cars. 1 person was seriously injured (no seatbelt) and was rushed away

#3 Jeep ran a red light, T-boned a small ford (escort?) no serious injury.

#4 at the car show, someone started their car in gear, and drove it off a retaining wall into a wood chipped Tree bed (Oakton Community college)

Thankfully nobody I know was in any accident, or involved in them.

Back on topic, I have never (and hopefully will not) seen an accident like that. My prayers go out to those personally effected by that tragic event!
