I got the iPhone 6plus and ever since it arrived I have had horribly slow WiFi problems. The only way to play itunes radio was to switch to verizon which wasnt a problem until i recently reached my data limit. I thought 8.0.2 was going to fix this problem but it didn't? Are there any solutions?

Have you tried it on a number of Wifi routers?

You want to eliminate the fact that it just does not play nice on your router.

If its that bad on all routers, you might want to look into a replacement.

I'm on a college campus and normally it works fine so i was starting to think that it was just my phone but my roommate got the regular 6 and has the same problem so there is no way to eliminate one variable as my other friends have updated their older iPhones and have no problems streaming or whatever

There are a couple of things people have tried with varied results.

1. Reset network settings
2. Turn off Wi-Fi networking in Location Services
3. Change your router setting from WEP to WPA2

The last one did the trick for my 6 Plus.

I'm having horribly slow wifi and also slow cellular. I thought It was related to my 5 days it took to do a full iCloud restore. But the restore is now complete and things are still excruciating to load.

It's slow on my home wifi and at work. It's driving me crazy.

I just did a speed test over cellular and I'm getting less than 1 MB down and also less than 1 MB up.

I have an older actiontec Verizon router that only does B/G. I logged into the router and switched WEP to WPA2 and now I'm back to pre iphone 6 quality speeds. 25mb up and 20mb down.

I have Verizon shipping me a newer actiontec router that is capable of doing wireless "N". I'll report back on what swapping in the new router does for my speed. I wish Verizon has a "AC" router. But I think I'm on a 75mb up and 50mb down plan. So I think I'm maxed out at N speeds anyway.

Wifi speeds in my plus are normal, but every so often it will randomly just drop wifi. I turned off wifi networking a few days ago when it did it, worked great, randomly dropped again. Then I reset network settings, and that did the trick for a couple days. Today it randomly dropped again, so I reset network settings again hoping that fixes it for good.

This is pretty annoying though. Really hoping it's a software issue that will be fixed in 8.1.
