hosting: www before domain doesn't work

Sorry for the lack of a better heading.

So, I'm testing out Mobile Me hosting with my domain at Go Daddy. My domain without the "www" works fine.

These are my settings:
A (Host) remained unchanged, so this may be pointing, I'm guessing to my old hosting? I've tried changing it to the Mobile Me IP with not luck,
CNAME settings:
Host: www / Points To: web.me.com
Host: distanttransmission.com / Points To: web.me.com

Any suggestions or glaring errors?

Well, it's now working just fine. I'm not entirely sure why.
