HOT! 23" Display, normal?

Hi, i got a new 23" ACD today, looks awesome.

only problem, i could fry an egg on it! its boiling hot, especially on the top!
Is this normal? or should i call apple.

I have brightness set to 100%, could this be the reason?

Well, they do get quite hot. What were you doing with it just before it got this hot? Is it in a well ventilated area? 🙂

all i did was get it out the box, 20 mins later and bam. fried eggs.

i called apple this morning and they said its not noraml, and they will eplace it 🙁 this sux balls. COMPENSATE ME DAMN IT

Ahh, yeah, that's not normal. Why would they compensate you? 😀
