I did the get ready with Klarna and tomorrow with the preorder my credit card billing address is set.

The only concern I have is will they deliver the new phones to a hotel?

I am traveling and put my primary shipping address as my hotel with my room number.

Can someone verify please

Yeah. I’m out of town so I’m trying to get it delivered to my hotel.

I assume there's no Apple Store where you'll be. Are you going to be in the hotel room all day? Are you setting the shipping as your name c/o hotel name? I was trying to think of other drop off places. If it's coming via UPS, you could have it held for pickup though I think that might delay it by a day. Let us know if you do set the delivery to the hotel & how it goes.

Apologies but is Apple Store pickup not a viable option?

I imagine hotel delivery is more of a question for your hotel than it is for Apple.

Just sounds a tad risky if I’m being honest.

Apple will deliver wherever you tell them to deliver. But you need to get in touch with your hotel to see what’s the policy around deliveries. i have had all sort of amazon deliveries to a hotel while travelling, so shouldn’t be an issue, but better to confirm with them directly.

Not true. billing address and shipping address can be different. I’ve done this before.
I am talking about Apple not Amazon.

In my opinion, the OP is asking for trouble here. And if I were Apple, I would tell him to cancel the order and to create a new one with the address he wants. That way the onus is on him. As it stands, Apple would be liable.

Sorry I do Amazon all the time, but I have also had Apple (AirPods and an iPhone 15 Pro max back in 2023). And my billing address was not even in the same country. It should be fine if it is a reliable hotel, but I would confirm with the front desk about their policy and yes, I would choose in store pickup if available.
