Hotmail account synchronization on Mac Mail

So apparently Hotmail accounts are now IMAP instead of POP allowing for a good synch with desktop email clients like Mac Mail. has anyone here given it a try? how good is it?

I switched my iOS and Mac OS devices to the IMAP settings a few weeks ago. Seems to be working fine.
