Hello all,
I have an issue that has eluded any solution. At my work place, I have poor cell signal (old building). As such, I use my work Mac as a hotspot for wi-fi (Wi-Fi on non-business devices is restricted).
There is an issue when I am on battery power. The issue is that if I leave my desk and my display turns off (due to power savings) and the hotspot feature disconnects, even if my Mac is not fully asleep. When I touch the trackpad everything comes back, but sometimes the hotspot is messed up as devices can't connect. I have to either manually redo everything or restart my Mac.
When connected on power, this issues does not happen. That said, anyway I can "fix" or adjust this?
