hotspot iPod from iPad 3G

I know I can use hotspot on my iPhone to give my iPod a connection...but how do I use my iPad 3G's connection to give my iPod a connection to the internet?

Is there "hotspot" settings on the iPad????

If its the Verizon one there is a toggle in settings. I don't believe the AT&T one can be used as a hotspot. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
