I remember those days of old digital watches, in a busy room around the hour you'd hear multiple "Beep-beep"s, all out of sync.

And those old digital watches where you couldn't turn the alarm off, so at some point during the day you would always here "beep beep, beep beep" for an entire minute sometimes. Ugh

I always hated hourly chimes. I hope Apple implements hourly "taps" instead so I doesn't annoy everyone around.

I hope there is an app for this. I have my current watch to go "beep beep" on the hour, and I'd miss it if it wasn't there

Hourly taps wouldn't be so bad. The last thing I want though is to be reminded of how slowly time is going by at work.

But now that I think of it, I bet there is no hourly warning to conserve battery life.

i'm all for a on the hour chime too...

it would be nice to have the options to adjust the hourly chime to either:
1. chime and vibrate.
2. chime.
3. vibrate.
4. do nothing at all.
5. change the chime with your own custom made chime.

Those would be nice options. Hopefully something like that has been incorporated or a 3rd party app will do it.

An hourly chime should have some function associated with it. Instead of receiving taps/chime for every notification, I would like to only receive a chime or tap at the top of the hour if I have unread notifications. If I don't have any unread notifications, then no tap or chime would occur...
