I think I changed something on my mac because yesterday I was able to hover my mouse over items on my menu bar ( battery display, volume control ) without the initial click on one of the items and now I can't. Did I maybe click on something or input a keyboard shortcut? Maybe I'm just being paranoid and it was always like this. 😕 Please help, thank you.

Hovering Mouse Over Menu Items

You can always just hover the mouse pointer over any item, but to actually access an item, you have to manually click it, including Menu Bar items like Battery or Volume.
