How 2 get iPad out of landscape mode?

Not sure how my son did it but now my iPad is stuck in landscape mode and I cant fix it. Can someone tell me how to take the lock off? Thanks...

The rotation lock is above the volume controls.

If it still doesnt work with the lock turned off like what happened to mine. turning off/on doesnt fix either.

randomly what fixed it was simply plugging in the usb cable to it 😕

Most likely he pushed the lock switch on the side by the volume controls. That switch locks the screen orientation.
