Afraid I can't take credit for that tip... it goes to member G-Force.

Also according to another member in that post, it turns off BOTH displays. 🙁

Someone mentioned in another thread (here) that Ctrl+Shift+Eject will turn off the display in Leopard. Does anyone know (or can you test) if this leaves the external display on?
