iPhone 15 Pro Max How accurate are the preorder dates?

Last weekend I decided to switch carriers, and we didn’t get things wrapped up until Saturday afternoon.

My phone is saying shipping between October 4-11. My wife’s is mid October to early November.

Based on what’s happened in the past, how accurate are those dates? Think there is a good chance they will arrive sooner than that?

I don’t believe I have ever preordered before. I have always just gone in on the Friday and gotten lucky (or just waited months for the hype to die down).

Anecdotal, but my original delivery date was Oct 4 - Oct 9 and then this week it updated to Oct 2. To my surprise it was delivered this morning. iPhone 15 Pro Max Natural.

Yeah it was an iPhone Upgrade Program pre-order through Apple directly. Maybe I just got lucky!

I’m curious as well. I don’t mind waiting a couple weeks but the November 6th date for my white PM 255Gb is a little far out there. I was curious as to when I’ll actually receive my phone. I’m guessing within a week or two. I feel like Apples estimates are a little out there so they underpromise and over deliver. I hope. Good luck to you. Hopefully you and the wife get yours sooner as well. But I am in the same situation. It can be disheartening

I would like to know also, i think i made a mistake by ordering through Amazon, my estimate is 10 Oct - 7 Nov. Does anybody have some experience with Amazon dates?

I don’t. I usually order through Verizon. I ordered through Apple this year because it’s easier to put a down payment on the phone and I like the instant credit.

I’m not familiar with Amazon but I can imagine they should get stock regularly like any retailer and hopefully you and I both get taken care of soon.

Mine hasn't budged from the original Oct 9-16 date. Watched others go up in dates, even a 9-16 delivered today... but mine hasn't moved. It just sits in progress, mocking me. Nothing on UPS track by reference, no charges. Just the "here's your Citizen's Bank loan number" this past Monday.

Yeah it really does suck at least yours isn’t November 6th like mine! But honestly I expect lots of movement next week on these far out dates. Maybe not a delivery but the days should be pushed forward. I don’t know this for a fact but I have a hunch they’ll move.

Don’t worry you’ll get some lovin’ soon. The way they ship too you don’t usually know until the day before it arrives anyways. It’s all the mystery of the iPhone delivery.

I pre-ordered two iPhone 15 Pro Max's on Saturday the 16th, and got notified the ship date was to be Oct. 4-10, and got them both today. Ordered at T-Mobile.

I also have been wondering. I keep thinking they will bump the date. I ordered the morning preorders started but my app wouldn’t let me in for 34 mins so by the time I got my order to go through the date was already bumped out to October 9-16th. I was so frustrated as I had already started my preorder the night before and they have already precharged my Apple Card so I couldn’t even just re add it to the cart and check out due to them holding all my funds. It hasn’t moved since. 😕
