So I'm using it after ages and for my iPhone 6 it shows the following. I don't understand what's the currant battery capacity now. Any ideas?

First wait until the battery is fully charged.

The first bar tells you the current state of charge. That should be around 100% when the battery charges.

The second bar tells you what percentage of the battery's design capacity you still have. So if your battery has degraded to hold only 95% of its original capacity, that number should be 95%.

Numbers and battery life can vary. I've noticed these days batteries tend to fail with high internal resistance issues, rather than losing capacity. So for example when you're at, say, 35% charge, the phone shuts off when you open the camera. That's the most common sort of failure I see with really old batteries.

I have a similar question, but much greater variance. I want to take advantage of apple's battery replacement program. I know functionally my battery capacity has diminished a lot. Have iPhone 6 Plus, almost 3 years old. Coconutbattery says I've had 674 charge cycles and current charge capacity is 35-36% of design capacity. Apple's new Battery Health (beta) says its 83% of maximum capacity. Based on how quickly it discharges and how often I have to charge now vs when it was new, I'd say cocunutbattery is closer to the truth. But how can they be that far off?

Well isn't that interesting. Coconut battery shows 98.8 design capacity on my X and the battery health app shows 99% That makes sense. Yours doesn't.

Check coconutBattery when the battery is fully charged to 100% (shown in the app, not on the phone). Also make sure the battery isn't cold when charging it up & checking CB.
I don't think a phone would run very long at all if it had only 35% left. Also, that number is way too low for that many cycles. 83% would be more likely.

Just remember that Apple has teams of software engineers working on iPhone stuff. CoconutBattery was designed by one guy.
