how and when does CS 3 utilize GPU

In what tasks would CS3 utilize a separate GPU? Off the top of my head, I would say flash only, but I'm not sure. Does Illustrator utilize the GPU for animations? How about PS?

as far as i know nothing in CS3 is dependent on the GPU. i know that Illustrator and PhotoShop don't use it.
