How Apple Leaked Itself

Working in software development this was always the obvious reason that this happened. They lacked some review process that allowed it to sneak through. I suspect they've actioned that for future releases to avoid this in the future.

When using AI, the last step is human double checking, obviously they are skipping that.

I always felt these 'accidental leaks' were intentional; look at the buzz it generates. Free marketing.

It’s quite naive to think that Apple would leak something like that by accident. Those things are deliberately “leaked” so they can test the reaction. It’s agile development and early-stage testing in a new way. The idea of the new AirPods is being tested with concept video. The development is probably very early stage now.
