How are APP3 better with the same chip?

Im considering buying a pair of APP but unsure which.

How are the APP3 better in ANC (or anything else for that matter) than the APP2 if they have the same H2 chip and essentially the same design?

The improvements feel purely software which makes buying the APP3 a rip off

I feel they turned up the ANC without any improvements to the components, thus the white noise issue some of us can hear among multiple sets. This is however pure speculation.

I would say it's not speculation... it`s actually the truth.
The only thing different is the silicon-foam eartips. Otherwise this is technologically the exact same thing (barring the HR monitor etc...).

I'm not here to start a ragebait discussion, i`m asking maybe someone knows something.

I didn’t find them to be enough of an improvement to justify over my APP2.

If anything, I find them to be a different fit more than anything else.

This type of product is so subjective that one really has to try it for themselves and in their particular usage situations.

Actually, they have upgraded microphones, too.
