why do some of the calls and imessages made to my wife and vice versa showing on verizon usage log??
could it have to do with use both being on wifi or 1 on wifi other on lte????
from 7-9 all calls and imessage are on call log imessages showing m2m,9-940 nothing is on the log

Calls are calls and go through your carrier. As far as messages, are you sure they are iMessages that you are looking at in the logs?

I am 100% sure the were sent as imessages. from 9-930 I sent my wife several photos and she is telling me the 905,908,914,918 did not give a push notification until 918 and every 1 I sent said delivered. all of these did not show on usage log but all messages before that show...could that be that if we are not both in wifi they go threw the phone number?

There’s been some wired stuff going on with iMessage tbh. My messages aren’t syncing across my devices and aren’t downloading to a new phone.

iMessages will not show on a provider billing statement. They use the data connection and route through Apple. Provider statement shows text and MMS which can happen if you have on the setting to use that option in the event iMessage could not send. You will know because your device will color the message green. Same as chatting with someone that is not an iMessage user. I didn’t say iPhone user because not all people with an iPhone have iMessage on.

Who is your cell carrier? I have Verizon and had syncing problems as well

Verizon as well
I’m not sure if this is your problem but for those of us who own iPhones and are on Verizon we all get basic video voice mail at no extra cost because it’s built into our phones.
I was getting all kinds of Verizon text that most I couldn’t understand for the most part. The exception was I could read parts that said not able to sync. I called Verizon and requested they turn off the visual voice mail, and after doing that all my problems are gone.
So at least in my case there was a problem with normal text message not playing well with visual voice mail.
Good luck with your issue.

You're really still trying to catch your wife in some weird lie because she didn't respond to you quickly enough? Either you trust her or you don't. It's pretty clear you don't so perhaps you should address that with her.
