How are people coping with "fuzzy" Office 2011 for Mac on rMBP?

Instructions on how to get Word to display Retina-quality text:

I'm confirming this method works. Although, every time you open up a new or existing file, you have to minimize and reopen the windows, and you also have to click the small toolbar arrow each time in order for the text to go retina.
