When only the native apps/OS use it. I really like dark mode but to me it’s pointless if the 3rd party apps don’t support it (yet). It’s really jarring to be in dark mode and then open an app and suddenly be back to bright white again.
I appreciate many apps will add support for this but until they all do, or at least the vast majority, I can’t see myself getting used to the inconsistency.

I dont like it, maps looks horrible with it on and some apps that have changed I find look gross. Each to their own but I'll stay on light mode. Maybe I'll set it so dark mode comes on at night but I prefer night shift for night time use. Id actually prefer it if I could choose what apps changed to dark mode then I may use it but so far its doing nothing positive for my usage.

It's ok, won't be using it 100%, kinda reminds me of Android. Also I'm on an LCD display so there's no power saving benefit.

Last night in bed on my phone was the first time that I really appreciated it. On IPad I dont like it, but on the phone I enjoyed it while in iOS apps, not ugly third party apps that don’t support it.

Have been using DM since start of the ios 13 betas. Most 3rd party apps i use already had light/dark theme so no problem there, and the first party apps nicely fitted in especially Apple Music.

A long time coming but worth it IMO.

The only thing I really cared for with 13 so I'm good, had it on my jailbreaked 5s and have missed it since. Some of the apps I use already had the option as well. The black/grey/blue/red combo looks great

I don't particularly like it but I don't hate it either. I just turned on the automatic switch between light and dark mode based on sunrise and sunset time. One thing a little weird is that most website and third party app do not support dark mode yet. It looks a bit wired when all safari bars are dark and the webpage is light. But I guess that will be solved soon.

I like it a lot. I've been using dark mode on MacOS since it was released and am happy I can finally use it on iOS. I had already been using dark mode themes with a bunch of the 3rd party apps I regularly use anyway. Plus, I've been using dark themes with other PC/Mac apps I regularly use for years so iOS dark mode feels very natural to me.

I found it made things look more cramped in Safari for some reason so I turned it off.

I turned it on and never looked back. Dark Mode is just easier on the eyes for me, especially at night time. It is true not every app supports this, but instead of 100% blinding white light at night time, now it is at least 50% is white and 50% is dark (for the native apps).

The one thing I wish you can do is to allow some apps to go non-dark while the rest of the system is in Dark Mode. Apple Maps is really the only app I prefer in white.

I am completely disappointed with the implementation it’s shocking that this is the best they can do.

What specifically is causing your disappointment? What do you think they could have done better?

Not a criticism, genuinely curious. I've been using iOS 13 beta since it was released and have been impressed with the feature. Will be great once more 3rd party apps are updated to support it.

Complain to the developers then. They’ve had plenty of time to get on board. It’s not like Apple dropped this new feature on them overnight.
