im getting a new pro, or high end macbook in march, and how do these things preform with gaming? id really like to play fallout 3, crysis, or any other high end pc game, i know the pro with its 9600 will be better than a MB and its 9400, so what im really asking is are these good gaming machines?

Meh. The 9600M GT is equivalent to the desktop 9500 GT, not the 9600 GT. (The desktop 9600 has double the stream processors and a 256bit memory bus). It will do fine with today's stuff, but this thing's effective lifespan as a gaming machine will be a lot less than its lifespan at everything else.

Both F3, Crysis, and Crysis Warhead run very well.
