(First thread :) ) I have found that using the timer/alarm in my watch is even better and less intrusive that using it in my phone. During workouts I use the timer between sets to have a better estimate of my resting time. I had set up alarms and slept with my watch on important occasions. Also set up a quick timer when I go to do laundry or have a nap during the day is also very convenient. Do you guys agree? Any other example were the watch beats the phone time related?

NOTE: In one occasion I slept with the watch a notification makes the alarm go off but thank God I was already awake.

It is more convenient than the iPhone, but I wish the timer had a seconds options. Sometimes I need to time 30 seconds and using a watch face for this isn't practical since it times out in less than 20 seconds.

There's a timer buit into one third-party Apple Watch calculator app:

The timer is a great feature on the watch, I use it often and always have "hey Siri" set it for me. Very covienient!

Definitely in the kitchen thus far. And I did use it yesterday to remind me to get stuff out washer while I was gaming.

The timer feature is great! I use it to time my 15 minute breaks and hour lunch. The alarm is set to remind when my break and lunch start. This works so well for me because I don't always hear or feel my phone in my pocket while I'm working.

Timer is the top 3 feature I use on the watch. I use siri to set up timer for laundry, cooking and stuff. I find it extremely convenient in the kitchen since I don't have to touch anything with my dirty hands.

I use the timer during soccer season and keep it as a complication on one of my faces. I swap between faces different times of the week for different activities. If I need a quick timer on the face that does not have the complication I ask Siri to do it.

I use the timer every day to tell me when Clash of Clans war starts or ends. It's amazing, because I could have done this before but something about simply saying a few words makes me use it SO much more.

Use Siri. I just had her set a 30 second timer no problem.

As a student in the research lab, timer is so important. You have to record time for many things you are working on. It is basically part of the work. I believe it is going to help me a lot.

But my deliver date is Jun 29-July 2.....

I am a nurse so I've been using my stop watch to take the respiratory rate and pulse for my patients. I've also used the alarm to wake me up from my nap whilst working night shifts. It's actually a lot more useful to me than I first imagined.

I really like that alarms and timers set on the PHONE come across to the watch..vice versa doesn't seem to be the case.

I use the timer on the watch to make hard boiled eggs in the morning,
to time cooking meat on the BBQ
to time workout sets when I'm going a 60 sec on, 30 sec off protocol

it's really nice to have it right on the wrist.
