Unless there are some good new features in the newer firmware I will leave it as is.

You were asking about using the AExp to extend the network. I think right now, your AExp is connecting to the Netgear as a client. If you were to set up a WDS network from the Netgear, then the AExp would be able to extend the range of the overall network.

I'm not sure if the Netgear does WDS. I'm not even sure if there is open-source firmware that will accomplish this. That's what I was talking about.

My old Netgear did with wep only... So not really lol.
