How big and where is the 2012 MBA recovery disk?

    I re-partitioned my 128GB SSD into 2 parts using the Disk Utility. I noticed no recovery partition?

    Just wondering if you can even see it from the Lion OS?

    It is about 1GB. You don't see it within most of the system tools included in Lion, however, some other utilities can see it.

    1GB? Really. I would figure that OS X is a lot bigger than 1GB? I would also like to make a complete install USB for Lion.

    I think it's compressed, and does not include Lion. I think it still requires an Internet connection to download Lion.
