I'd really like to have a 24" display, I believe the current 27" is too big. Have the 27" resolution on a 24" display and I'd be super happy. Of course 4k would be fantastic.

I don't think they will change the sizes however I would really like the base model to be a 24inch version. Maybe the top end could go up to 32 with a slightly higher resolution.

I currently use a 22" wide screen and it really is too small for displaying multiple windows. I hate having windows overlap. If there was a 24" with high resolution, then I might opt for that instead of a 27" or whatever the next largest size would be. As it stands now, I would have to get the 27".

I don't care about watching TV or movies on my computer.

21-24" is ideal here. I use a 21" cintiq as my primary monitor; fitting both onto my desk is a bit of a challenge.

Higher resolutions also mean worse performance from the iMac's graphic card in games.

They will be exactly the same as last time. People are talking about Retina display for the 2013 iMac (because despite what a few people think its too soon for the 2012 model). If they go bigger than 27" think of the cost.

I would like to see 30 inches. Would be great for movies as for retina I really don't see much difference in it, I'd rather have super AMOLED. Plus the gaming performance would be crappy right now at 4k. Maybe once GPU's get more powerful i would want it.

Size is not important

It doesn't matter how big it is , what matters is how you use it ;)
