Happens every year. ATT orders what they want and then get them to ship more as needed but Apple has the mother load for sure.

ATT site is horrible compared to using the Apple app so I always go with Apple.

Why did best buy have rmb to sell when Apple did not?

I generally hate buying direct form AT&T as their systems are antiquated. Any issue and you're dead.

It's why I also made a reservation.

I'm curious. Does anyone who ordered a rose gold plus 128gb from att have a release date delivery.

Plus had a delivery of October of every model since the store opened at 3:01am. It was never available on AT&T for launch time.

That is stupid. They better move us up like last year.

This is my first year ordering on ATT (because of the subsidy). I have 10/16-10/25 ship date. Last year ATT moved up the ship dates? Did they move up to the launch day? How soon after the pre-order day did they start moving up the ship dates?

Same here, was forced to use AT&T because of subsidy. Got email confirmation at 3:01, October 16-23 delivery date. Some act like the world will come to an end because they won't get phone on lunch day.

Was an easy process, took maybe 3 minutes total.

I started ordering on AT&T before 2am (central), saw the shipping estimate, and punched out and waited for Apple. Glad I did considering you can still order my model with a 9/25 deliver date. I hope for those who ordered via ATT that you get yours on time.

It's not the end of The world, but the fact is a lot of us woke up at three in the morning to just order a phone I would've waited until I got up in the morning if the delivery date is the same for everyone. I'm not complaining just stating

Nobody forced you to wake up at 3 and ordering at 3 no way guarantees you get the phone on launch day.

I ordered through Apple, the store did not open until about 2:10 or so central time, but I was able to at least start the order. I had a terribly hard time making the order, and it was not until about 2:45 or so that they actually took my money. I have a 9/25 delivery time though in a silver 6s+ with 128 GB.

You can still get that model with a 9/25 delivery date from the Apple store. The ATT preorders will almost certainly get their phones on launch day; they probably just don't have any inventory from Apple that they can make better estimates against.

Getting up at 3:00 is all part of the iPhone party. I have done it for iPhone, iPad and watch every year. Always used Apple Store in the past and had no problems. This year was forced to use Att for 2 year contract and also as a retired employee att waves $40 fee if you use them. I ordered the Plus 64 in Black at 3:18 and got October dates. Hope att is using the Apple plan "under promise and over perform". I think we will get them early

Well when you "type words" that essentially tell people that they're acting like impatient children who don't understand simple facts about life, I would imagine that your intent, conscious or subconscious, is to ruffle a few feathers while demonstrating your own heightened sense of practicality and patience.

"Impatient children" pretty much sums up these forums for the past week. All of you in this thread included.

Give it a week guys

I always preorder from AT&T, every single time the dates change closer to actually release date

Last year i ordered a day after pre orders opened and got a date of 2 months out, still got phones on first available date

Point being, give them sometime to catch up, they usually deliver on time
