I'm pretty new to video editing. I'm a musician and composer. I written a tribute to Diego Maradona who just died yesterday. I want to do a visdeo tribute using the same music and FCPX. Is there a way to rip youtube videos to use some of the video images in FCPX? Can some of the DVD apps do this? I know how to load photos. But I'd love some slow motion video of him moving down the field to score and a waving Argentinian flag and clrowds cheering.

I remembered now. I have the software - Aimersoft Video Converter Ultimate. Seems to work.

Sorry you haven't had a reply here Henry
I guess the first consideration would be copyright, and permissions,
For personal use, Parallels Toolbox will do it for you, I think it is about $12 USD per year per device
