I have a jailbroken 3.1.2 2gen iPod and this is the last week of the warranty, the sleep button doesnt work that good, even if i LIGHTLY "tap" it the screen will shut off so i decided i would send it. I want to save photos, music, bookmarks, apps, jailbroken apps, settings and the Cydia Repos and themes.I know that there is a theme folder and i can just save that.Other than syncing how can i save everything? I want to "restore" or copy it to the new one i would be getting. Can I save the cydia apps/repos or will i have to write them down one by one? :(

PhoneView will make a complete file system backup of a Jailbroken iPhoneOS device, if you turn on "Advanced Disk Mode".

(Well, technically, it will show you the whole file system, and let you copy it off or on. The app itself won't do the backup, just facilitate you making a backup.)

You'd have to SSH in and just copy the entire filesystem. But that might return with glitches when you get your new device back, as Apple may update it to 3.13 or, more likely, 4.0.

I'd just get a bit of paper, a pencil, and write down all your new repositories and Cydia apps. AppStore apps will just be backed up by a regular iTunes sync.

Anyway, good luck!
