How can I burn my aperture vault to DVDs?

My aperture vault is about 11gb. I´m just wondering, if I were to drag and drop it into toast, would toast split the vault up, burn it to several dvds and then allow me to piece it back together on another computer?

If not, How else can I back up all my photos to dvd?
