    Topic.

I have a movie of a game. I'm trying to make fan model. I don't wing things very well... so I'd like to get a couple reference frames from the movie.

How can I change the movie into a series of 240 frames so I can compare them side by side (find out which one they're standing most relaxed in... it's easiest to make models of humanoids simply standing up... I can put them into the final pose later with skeletons.)

    You're kidding.

    ...

Oh well, the method I used worked pretty well.

I realize that I was looking at the wrong thing.

I don't really want 240 images. I just want the 10 or so frames that'll make excellent references. So I dragged the 2 minutes movie into iMovies and when "scrubbed" with the mouse to find the spots where the person looked most relaxed. And then I took a screenshot each time it looked good.

Edit: Oh, I found the option in Quicktime... it's a pro only feature...
