Hi

I have some .AVI files which I can play on my Macbook Pro G5. I would like to burn them onto DVD's to play in a DVD player.

Can any help advise if this can be done and how to convert the files to burn on a DVD etc.

Thanks

Software, like Toast, will do the conversion automatically, and burn the disc.

As long as you have Perian installed and can play them in QuickTime, you could easily author a DVD in iDVD. Keep in mind that this will re-encode your videos to MPEG-2 for DVD video, which is less efficient than the DivX/XviD codec usually used in AVI files so you will not be able to fit as much material on the disc, and will result in a further drop in quality.
