I've been trying to create a .mac email account for the longest and have been unable to do so. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but it is very frustrating. :( I'm thinking that one was already set up for me when I put everything together b/c this is the message I get:

Trying to log into the .Mac server “mail.mac.com” has failed. Please make sure the username and password are correct. If you continue, you may not be able to receive any email.

Maybe I'm the only one, but I'm disappointed that you don't get a free .mac account when you buy a mac. At least an email account would be nice.

you sure ain't the only one.. i perfectly agree with you... i'd love a .mac email account, but i dont need the rest of stuff...

Thanks!!! I was under the impression that I could automatically create a .mac email account just for having a mac. What was I thinking? I'll just stick to whatever other email accounts I have. I don't think its worth the money for me to get a program in order to get this account. Again, thanks so much!!!

.Mac is wicked - I thought I would never use the feature where you get 1GB online hosting for storing things, but i've assigned it to a proper web address, so I can access important files where ever I am.
