Hi.

I'm currently using a 16GB iPhone 4S. Unfortunately 16GB is not enough for my needs anymore and I decided to delete some unnecessary things. One of those are the images on it: I rarely look at the pictures on the iPhone, having them synced to iPhoto using photostream is enough for me. So I made sure all pictures were saved on my mac and disabled photo syncing in iTunes.
But after this and deleting the existing pictures through iPhoto there still are plenty of pictures left. Can anybody tell me how to get rid of those?

Only thing i can think of is doing it manually by going into your Photos > Camera Roll or Photo Library > Edit > Select each photo you want to delete individually, and hit Delete.

What I do to remove photos on my phone is this: Disable auto-sync like you did. (Manually sync photos.) Then I created a folder in iPhoto called "to iPhone". (You can name it what you like.)

When I want to move photos to the phone I copy them to that folder then sync with the phone choosing only that folder to sync.

To remove them from the phone, I remove any photos from the "to iPhone" folder in iPhoto, leaving it empty. Then sync the phone choosing only that folder to sync. The photos are then removed from my phone.

Works for me, hope that helps.
