How can I disable the duplicate option with folders?

    Is there any way to disable the copying function for folders? Basically, can I prevent other people from duplicating a folder (and the contents of that folder) if I give it to them? I want them to be able to see/access the contents of the folder and be able to delete the folder, but I don't want them to be able to make duplicates of it.

    No, as you grant them READ access, they will be able to copy it.
    And granting them the permissions to delete files or folders, will give them WRITE access.
