How can I downgrade to 2.2?

You could try DFU mode then find a copy of the 2.2 and place it in iTunes delete the other firmwares in the iTunes folder dissconnect from the iternet and hope that works!

Tryed that, was able to go into dfu mode with out a problem, then I pick the FW 2.2 everything was fine, but right before my iPhone was almost done ERROR. 😱
Honestly as you can see I have a 2g and a 3g(which is my black 16gig) I got a white 16gig from my job as a gift. So I want to JB an unlock my black 16gig with yellow snow. That is the reason why I want to downgrade. In order to unlock a 3g you need to be running FW 2.2 or lower. 😉

I'm guessing the reason why he/she asked is that you can't downgrade firmware to unlock. 🙂 The baseband stays at 2.30 (cannot be downgraded) which is incompatible with yellowsn0w.
